Bengaluru, May 27: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, D K Shivakumar, taunted MP Tejasvi Surya, about his claim of hospital bed booking scandal. He wanted to know what Surya has to say now, in the light of the arrest of a person close to BJP MLA Satish Reddy in the case.
He was speaking after initiating the ambulance service provided by his party to serve the coronavirus patients of Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga districts on Wednesday May 26. He appreciated the central crime branch for having worked effectively and sealing the lips of those who were making reckless allegations.

"Why should I ask Satish Reddy about Babu, his close associate, who was involved with the scandal? Let Tejasvi Surya and BJP leaders give an explanation," he demanded. On the issue of statement made by Ramesh Jarkiholi, he said he does not want to speak about the issue, and it has already been discussed in the party forum.
