Kasargod: Retired school teacher gets electrocuted due to electric shock from motor pump

Kasargod, May 27: In a tragic incident that occurred on the afternoon of May 27, a retired school teacher was electrocuted at Koodlu on the outskirts of the city.

Muradlidhar (57), a resident of Koodlu Ramadasanagar Gange road is the deceased. He was a Hindi teacher at Patla Government School and retired a year ago. The incident occurred as the deceased got an electric shock from the motor pump.

Though Muralidhar was shifted immediately to the hospital in the city. He breathed his last on the way. Earlier, he resided at Cherkala but shifted his base to Koodlu for some time.

Kasargod police have registered a case.
