Bengaluru, May 29: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Saturday held a video conference meeting to review the Covid-19 pandemic control measures with the district administrations and elected representatives of Mysuru, Hassan, Belagavi, Kalaburgi and Vijayapura on Saturday.
Deputy chief ministers Govind M Karjol, Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, who is also the state Covid task force chief, chief secretary P Ravikumar accompanied the chief minister in Bengaluru.
The deputy commissioners of five districts, MPs and legislators and other senior officials from the respective districts participated in the video conference meeting from their respective districts.
The chief minister stressed the need for controlling the spread of the pandemic in rural areas, increasing the testing, tracking and treatment of the Covid patients.
