Indian Chaplaincy Holy Land Konkani Community organise pilgrimage tour to Nazareth

Jerusalem, May 31: The Indian Chaplaincy Holy Land Konkani Community in Israel had organized a pilgrimage tour on May 29 to Nazareth, the hometown of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The holy tour began with a procession from the church of St Joseph at Nazareth to the Basilica of the Annunciation. The Holy tour was organized under the guidance of Fr Santhosh Lobo Ofm Cap, in charge of the Konkani community of Israel, with the support of Fr Dominic Mendonca.

There were around 900 Konkani people working in Israel who took part in the devotion of the Holy Rosary and in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

 

Special prayers were offered for those who have been affected by Covid and for the peace of the Holy Land.
