I wish the well to do expatriates float one trust each in every Taluq of DK to promote higher education for the poor in those backward Govt schools. The NRIs should contribute to the Primary UAE Trust from which the fund can be ditrubuted to all the Taluq Trusts as per their individual merits. Also promote sports, cultural and other upliftment events in these schools. You give them hope and they will definately climb the ladder of success.
Even giving of alms & Zakath should be according to fakir’s individual depth of poverty. The mosques in our region should be adviced to have donation boxes installed at different stretagic points in the mosque compounds. The devotees should be discouraged of giving alms, zakaths etc at random to those fakirs thronged outside the mosques. Instead they should put small amount in the donation boxes and big amounts through authorised receipts from the mosque authorities. The alms seekers should be given proper place to sit outside every mosque in disciplined manner or they becomes hindrances to the devotees entering the mosques. Every mosque should flaot a maintenance committee by the regular devotees and not only by the mosque committee members. This committee should become active and take care of the day to day problems of the devotees praying in the mosques.
