Mangalore, Aug 23: Sporadic rains, some of which were of high intensity, were experienced in most parts if Karnataka coast on Sunday August 22. The rains, which were spread out during the day, turned heavy at night.
Agumbe and Kundapur recorded 11 cms of rain each. Other places received between five and ten cms of rain. Good rains were also reported from hinterlands.
The meteorological department has predicted widespread rains all over the cost with light to normal rains in hinterlands, during the next two days.
