Riyadh: India Fraternity Forum Holds Iftar party


Riyadh, Aug 24: India Fraternity Forum, an Islamic social service organization organized an iftar party at Istria here, recently for over 2,500 non-resident Indians.

Jalaluddin Kannur, who took the lead to organize the party said that it was a challenge to make arrangements for over 2,500 people. Making separate arrangements for namaaz and living area for women was indeed daunting, but went on smoothly, he said.

Vehicles were arranged to ferry people to the party from Batha, Sanaya and Olaya. The voluntary services by Majeed Vittal, Basheer Mayyindala and Naushad Katipalla of Karnataka, Salim Maulavi of Kerala, Junaid of Tamil Nadu, Javed from Andhra Pradesh, Syed Ali from West Bengal and Mansoor Ali, Maharashtra were responsible for the success of the party.
