Mangaluru, Jun 5: As part of celebrating World Environment Day on June 5, keeping the lockdown guidelines in mind, the College of Commerce and Management, Srinivas University, arranged several activities on the virtual platform. Various activities were conducted for the BCom and BBA students to create awareness of our environment.

BCom and BBA students were asked to make a video related to cleaning the surrounding and planting saplings. The activity of planting saplings was kept for students. The procedure of planting a sapling was clearly explained to the students before the commencement of the activity. Students and faculty participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.

The students were guided by Professor Keerthan Raj- dean of the College of Management and Commerce. Professor Sharmila S Shetty – course co-ordinator of BCom, Dr Sonia Noronha – course co-ordinator of BBA Port Management, Professor Nelson Pereira course co-ordinator of BBA and Professor Shilpa K – co-ordinator of the NSS wing.
