Bengaluru, Jun 11: State BJP-in charge, Arun Singh, has asserted that there is no question of any leadership change in Karnataka. With this, the issue seems to have reached its logical conclusion. However, as the legislators are under pressure and they want to pour out their feelings, Arun Singh will visit the state next week. He may come here on June 15 or 16.
Singh will be in the city for some time to lend an ear to the views and grievances of the legislators. He will at the same time, be advising them to extend unequivocal support to the government in its battle against covid19. He will also be issuing clear instructions not to raise the issue of leadership time and again.
Speaking at Delhi on Thursday, Arun said that Yediyurappa will continue as the chief minister of Karnataka and that he and his cabinet colleagues have worked meritoriously against Covid. He said that Yediyurappa is a good administrator and will continue as chief minister.
Arun Singh, when his attention was drawn about signature campaign within the BJP, said he will discuss the matter with the concerned. He also said that the state BJP president, who is doing well, will continue, thus cementing the seat occupied by Nalin Kumar Kateel.
