Bangalore, Aug 28: Abdul Nasser Madani, accused of playing a role in the serial bomb blasts in the city in 2008, and presently in judicial custody, was taken to Jayadeva Hospital here on Friday August 27 for cardiac examination.
He was taken to the hospital in the afternoon with a police escort, after he complained of chest pain. The doctors at the hospital examined him and confirmed that he does not suffer from any heart-related ailments. As he has symptoms of diabetes, high blood pressure and other ailments, it was suggested that he may be treated at some other hospital.
He was then taken back to jail.
