Bantwal, Jun 16: A tree that got uprooted and fell across railway tracks at Mani here, was vacated by former gram panchayat member Ganesh Rai Sagu, Yakshith Shetty, Dhanush Shetty and local people.
Locals have commended the timely work of the team.
Heavy rains have been creating a menace on the coast. The rainfall has led to the trees getting uprooted with the roof of houses getting destroyed.
