Chikkaballapur, Jun 17: Alleging that a coolie had teased a girl, a gang of four attacked him and accounted for his life. The incident happened in Gudibande in the district.

The deceased was Abid Ali from West Bengal. He was from Maharajapura village. He had been hired to work on the new service road being laid between Sadali Cross and Varlakonkda on national highway 44.

A case has been registered against Manu who attacked Ali, and his companions, Sunil, Naveen and Srikanth. Brother of the deceased, Saiyusha Saab also requested the police to file a case for posing him life threat. The police have arrested the four accused and registered case.
