Bantwal, Jun 17: Amidst incessant rain and sledge, JCI Bantwal members and like-minded youngsters worked to construct a house for Nagamajji, here.
With help from JCI Bantwal donors and local groups, the construction is in progress. JCI Bantwal members carried sand on Thursday for the house.
JCI Bantwal president Umesh R Moolya, secretary Roshan Rai, founder president Nagesh Balehitlu, former president Sadananda Bangera, members Kishore Acharya, Karthik Rai, Prakash Acharya, Karunaker Rai, Suhas Sudhaker, Sanjith and Sajith Pavan indulged in the work. Youngsters of Laxmi Vishnumurthi Seva Sangha Jarandagudde carried stones for the work last Sunday.
Local resident Aboobacker provided shelter for the men to stand during heavy rain. The house members stacked firewood in their house. Jaycee members helped them carry firewood and complete the stacking work within minutes.
