WFI announces probables for World Cadet Wrestling C'ships


New Delhi, Jun 21 (IANS): The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has selected probables for World Cadet Wrestling Championships scheduled to be held in Budapest from July 19 to 25.

The selection trials were held on Monday here at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Sports Complex in men and women's groups.

The WFI will also conduct the national coaching camp for the cadet teams from the last week of this month.

Probables for the camp:

Men's freestyle:

45 kg (Sourya Kumar, Chandigarh); 48 kg (Aman, Haryana); 51 kg (Chirag, Haryana); 55 kg (Vaibhav Patil, SSCB); 60kg (Jaskaran, Punjab); 65kg (Vishal, Delhi); 71kg (Jaideep, Haryana); 80 kg (Sagar, Haryana); 92 kg (Sahil, Haryana); 110kg (Sahil, Delhi).

Men's Greco-Roman:

45 kg (Lakshya, Delhi); 48 kg (Ronit, Haryana); 51 kg (Harsh, Delhi); 55 kg (Rupin, Haryana); 60kg (Sumit, Chandigarh); 65 kg (Ankit Gulia, SSCB); 71kg (Ashish, Delhi); 80kg (Chirag, Haryana); 92kg (Vishal, Delhi); 110kg (Nitin, Haryana).

Women's freestyle:

40 kg (Chanchala Kumari, Jharkhand); 43kg (Tanu, Haryana); 46 kg (Komal, Haryana); 49 kg (Neha Kiran Chaugale, Maharashtra); 53kg (Antim, Haryana); 57 kg (Hanshaben Rathore, Madhya Pradesh); 61 kg (Nitika, Delhi); 65 kg (Varsha, Haryana); 69 kg (Harshita, Haryana); 73 kg (Priya, Haryana).
