Kundapur, Jul 1: Karnataka Rajya Grama Lekkadhikarigala Kendra Sangha, Davanagere held a green festival 2021 programme in association with the district administration on the birthday of revenue minister R Ashok by planting saplings at Hindu crematorium, Kundapur J L B road. Kundapur sub-division assistant commissioner K Raju set in motion the programme by planting a sapling.

He said that the department of revenue has remained important even though a few other departments are away from it in administrative matters. “The department continues as a reliable department. The service of the department has been leading in the state since the last 19 months.”

Kundapur taluk tahsildar Anandappa Nayak, municipal councillor Prabhaker, Udupi district village accountant association president Bharath V Shetty, grade one tahsildar Ramachandra Hebbar, council officer Ganesh, Sharath, Kundapur taluk village accountant’s association president Kantaraj, Kundapur taluk village assistant’s association president Dinesh, assistant tahsildar Shankera, Lata and others were present.

Revenue officer Raghavendra compered the programme and delivered the keynote address.
