Bantwal: Rotary Club donates furniture to Badagabellur Aided Higher Primary School

Bantwal, Jul 1: The programme of handing over school furniture worth Rs 1,30,000 donated under the leadership of Rotary Club president K Narayana Hegde to one of the three classes in the school on request of school convener to Badagabellur Aided Primary School was held here on June 30.

Bantwal Rotary Club president and assigned governor Prakash Karanth Narikombu, Rotary Club Bantwal secretary Vani Prakash Karanth, school centenary building construction committee president P Rameshchandra Bhandary, school convener K Narendranath Bhandary and school headmaster Keshava Naika were on the dais.

School convener K Narendranath Bhandary welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction. Prakash Karanth lit the lamp.

School retired headmaster Sankappa Shetty spoke about the growth of the school. The school thanked the Rotary Club for their noble act with a memento.

School retired teachers Gangadhar Rai, Sankappa Shetty, building committee vice president Dayananda Moodubettu, alumni association president Sachindranath Rai, school overlooking committee/SDMC president Gunavathi, school honorary teachers, former students, local people and well-wishers were present.
