Mangaluru: Bengaluru train to have Vistadome coaches from July 7

Mangaluru, Jul 2: The Mangaluru-Yeshwantpur special train will have Vistadome coaches from July 7. Vistadome coaches offer panoramic view of the scenic Western Ghats as they are equipped with glass roofs and windows.

The thrice-a-week train No. 06211/06212 Yeshwantpur-Karwar special train will begin its journey from Yeshwantpur from July 7 and from Mangaluru junction with Vistadome coaches. For the thrice a week Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Junction train No. 06575/76 , these trains will be fitted with Vistadome coaches at Yeshwantpur from July 8 and from July 9 from Mangaluru junction station.

For the train No. 06559 Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru junction train, Vistadome coaches will be provided from July 10 and for 06540 Mangaluru junction - Yeshwantpur express, from July 11.

Bookings for the Vistadome coaches will begin on July 3. These coaches are equipped with 40 luxury chairs which rotate 360 degrees. They help the passengers to enjoy rich nature during the day.
