Mangaluru, Jul 2: Sahay Swacchatha Abhiyan under the slogan 'Nirmala Manasu, Nairmalya Parisara’ organised by Karnataka Muslim Jamaat, SYS, SSF and KCF got underway at Wenlock hospital in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Shafi Saadi, general secretary of Karnataka Muslim Jamaat said, “A cleaning campaign will be held throughout the state by all the wings of Karnataka Muslim Jamaat from today. In Mangaluru it is started on a special note. As today is Doctors’ Day, our activists have started this campaign by cleaning the campus of Wenlock hospital and thereby attempting to thank the Covid warriors who are in the health sector. This noble work is not only appreciable but also pleasing to God.”
Dr Sheikh Bawa Abudhabi, general secretary of KCF international committee, Abdul Latif Saadi, state president SSF, Dr Julian Saldanha, RMO, Wenlock district hospital, Dr Sadashiv Shanubhogur, DHO, Shihabuddin Thangal Madaka, advisor Dakshina Kannada district Sahay, DP Yousuf Shakafi, Sirajuddin Shakafi Kanyana, Jamaluddin Vittal, Ismail Master, Mustafa Naimi Haveri and others were present.
Sahay ambulance handed over to district administration by Karnataka Muslim Jamaat
Sahay ambulance, sponsored by KCF Oman was handed over to the district administration in front of the DC office on Monday June 28.
Accepting the key of the ambulance, DC Dr Rajendra K V said, “The social service done by KCF during the difficult time of the pandemic is really appreciable. This a model that needs to be emulated. I thank KCF on behalf of the Dakshina Kannada district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sheikh Bawa, president of the KCF international committee said, “The service given by KCF Oman is appreciable. This is the tenth ambulance that is donated by KCF. In the coming days also, KCF is ready to serve the society.”
Former MLA Mohiuddin Bawa said, “It is really laudable that people who work in the gulf are giving one part of their earning to KCF for social work. I am really happy that KCF is working for peace and communal harmony.”
KMJ district chief secretary B M Mumtaz Ali said, “KCF organization is organising many people-friendly schemes under the leadership of Uliamas. It is not limiting its service to only one religion but spreading it across people of all religions.”
DP Yousuf Sakafi Baitar, president of KCF Saudi Arabia, Kazi Khurratu Sadat Koorat Tangal, Kazi Zainul Ulaima Mani Ustaad, Hazrat Fazil Razwi Kavalkatte blessed the occasion.
Hamza Sakafi, president Sunni coordinator, Dr U T Iftikar, chairman, Sahay elite alliance, Umar Sakafi Mitthur, director KCF Oman, Nasir Luckystar, taluk president of KMJ, workers of KCF Oman and others were present.
