Mangalorean Bodybuilder Roshan Ferrao Bags Mr Asia Pacific 2010 Title

Mangalore, Sep 6: Mangalorean bodybuilder Roshan Ferrao has once again done the city proud by bagging the Mr Asia Pacific 2010 title at the Asia Pacific Body Building Championship held at Avarua, Rarotonga, Cook Islands recently.
Roshan is only the second Indian to bag an international body building title after another Mangalorean veteran bodybuilder Raymond D’Souza won the Mr World title in 1990.
Roshan Ferrao also secured first place under the physique men short category, while other Mangaloreans Shodhan Rai and Vincent Prakash Carlo bagged second and third place respectively under the physique men tall category.
Roshan had also won gold in bodybuilding competitions in 2000 and 2009. An employee of Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (Mescom) at Attavar, he has been a member of Zen Gym, Tokkottu and trained by renowned coach S Kumar for the past ten years.
Anand Krishna was the manager of Indian bodybuilders’ team.
Both Roshan Ferrao and Vincent Prakash Carlo acknowledged the generous support by Mangalorean philanthropists who helped them in their journey towards victory.
