UAE, Sep 8: The active core committee members of Emirates Pangalites (EP) gathered in the parish office to bid farewell to the transferred spiritual director of Konkani community and priest of St Mary’s Church Fr Freddy D’Souza.
President Vinay Vaz presented a memento and former president Jovin D’Souza presented a gift to Fr Freddy as a gesture of gratitude for his whole hearted support to EP.
Joel Quadras, treasurer of EP, conducted the entire felicitation ceremonial. He highlighted Fr Freddy’s support and involvement in various Konkani community programmes like picnics, annual get-togethers and so on.
Members of Emirates Pangalites though were emotional bidding farewell to Fr Freddy; they wished him all the success in his next mission in Bahrain.
Fr Freddy whole heartedly thanked all the members of EP for their love and support during his tenure in Dubai.
