Belagavi, Jul 6: The deputy commissioner of the Belagavi district has restricted the entry of devotees to Savadatti Renuka Yellamma temple. The order was issued on Sunday July 21. The administration also prohibited the shops around the temple from carrying out any business. But, the administration has been allowed to carry out daily rituals inside the temple.

As the Delta plus cases are gradually increasing and a large number of devotees from Maharashtra thronging Savadatti Yellamma temple, the district administration has taken this decision. Following the state government's unlock 3.O guidelines, several tourist places and pilgrim centres are opened for the public from Monday.
