Video of little boy scolding tourists for not wearing masks goes viral

Dharamshala, Jul 8: As soon as the lockdown restrictions were lifted, the public used it to capitalize on the moment by stepping out and resuming their usual activities.

Tourism saw a revival as well with Himachal Pradesh seeing an influx of tourists. Famous destinations like Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, and Narkanda had their lodges, hotels getting completely booked. However, it was also observed that even after repeated directions by the government, the tourists utterly disregarded safety protocols enforced in the state. Taking cognisance of such a grave situation, a video that recently went viral has a little boy walking on a crowded street scolding people who are walking without a mask.

The video first surfaced on Instagram and later on, Twitter shows a little kid wearing a mask with a plastic stick questioning passersby, “Tumhara mask kaha hai?" (Where is your mask?). Unfortunately, his words fall on deaf ears as none pay attention to the kid.

Scores of netizens expressed their views on the disheartening situation.

The Himachal Pradesh government had announced last month about the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. Shimla hotel and restaurant association president Sanjay Sood told PTI that the withdrawal of the condition of negative RT-PCR report and e-Covid pass to enter the state gave a boost to tourist footfall.

Unscientific mandate uttered by media manipulated kid! Yes, research reports have found if small kids wear masks their brains get damaged due to lack of oxygen, for this reason many countries have exempted kids below 11 from wearing one. Again more scientific evidences are coming out proving they don't provide any protection either to the wearer or others around as it actually sends fine invisible forced jet of aerosols through the vents which is capable of entering through any reputed masks. They reduce oxygen levels and increasing carbon dioxide intake thereby lowering immunity and increasing the viral and bacterial infections.

Even though the quality of the masks we use is not useful, the show must go on and on. This boy has done awareness in a very polite way.
