Udupi, Jul 9: A home guard by profession approached former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj and expressed his grievance of not getting a salary for the past three months. Pramod shared this matter on his Twitter account.
In his tweet, Pramod Madhwaraj said, “Home guards, who are one of the strong forces of Karnataka police, are working in tandem with the police 24x7. One of the home guards personnel called me and conveyed that they have not received salaries for the past three months. I have called DC Jagadeesha and informed the matter to him. In addition, this matter is brought to the notice of IAS officer and Udupi district-in-charge secretary major Manivannan. Major Manivannan responded immediately and said that he will take action to pay the salaries as soon as possible after holding a discussion on the subject with the DC.”
