Mangalore: Petrol, Diesel Prices Go Up by Nine Paise per Litre

Mangalore, Sep 9: Prices of diesel and petrol have gone up by nine paise each per litre, in the twin-districts.

This is in tune with the hike in petrol prices affected, in tune with an agreement entered into by the union government for paying higher rates of commission to petrol bunks as demanded by them.

The revised price of ordinary petrol in the city has been revised to Rs. 57.14 from Rs 57.05, while premium petrol has been priced at Rs 59.64 as compared to Rs.  59.55 earlier. The diesel price has gone up to Rs 41.74 from Rs 42.65, with the premium variety diesel having been priced at Rs 43.53 as against Rs 43.45 earlier.

The prices came into effect from midnight on Tuesday September 7.
