Udupi, Jul 10: A vaccination drive for the students of Manasa Rehabilitation Centre was held in association with Seva Bharathi, the welfare of disabilities department, Sakshama, Kodavoor Divyanga Rakshana Samiti at the Manasa Rehabilitation Centre campus.
Parents of the children and children were vaccinated on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Vijay Kodavoor, member of Udupi CMC said, "Every individual or animal will have a few inefficiencies. We should have concern for the disabled. We spend on many things during a function at our house. At such times, let us help the disabled in our happy moments."
Vijay Kodavoor, Latha Bhat, an officer at SAKSHAMA, Rayan Fernandes, director of Seva Bharathi, Henry Menezes, president of Manasa Trust, Joseph Noronha, secretary, Sr Aslila, principal of Manasa Trust, Dr Subramani Rao, medical officer of Shirva Primary Health Centre, Srikanth Nayak, president of BJP Kaup, Rathna, Roopa Laxmi and staff of the school were present on the occasion.
