Mangalore: Jaycee Week 2010 - Series of Competitions from Sep 9

Mangalore, Sep 9: Junior Chamber International (JCI), Mangalore will hold a series of competitions for students and the general public as part of Jaycee Week 2010 here from September 9 to 15.

The competitions include Classical and Folk Dance competition for primary and high school students at Town Hall on Thursday September 9 at 2.00 pm and Drawing Competition, Magic Show and training programme at Kadri Park on Friday September 10 at 2.00 pm.

Fruits distribution for the patients at Government Wenlock Hospital on September 11 at 4.00 pm, while Prince and Princess, modelling contest for children, Rangoli, Mehendi, Hair Style and Flower Arrangement competitions will be held at Town Hall Sunday September 12 at 10.00 am and Namaste India, a variety show on national integration will be held for high school and college students at Town Hall on Monday September 13 at 4.00 pm.

District Level Sports for Physically and Mentally Challenged students will be held at St Sebastian auditorium, Bendoorwell on Tuesday September 14 at 10 am, while grand finale of Meri Awaz Suno, singing competition will be held at Town Hall on the day at 4.00 pm.

Elocution Competition for high school students will be held at Hotel Nalapad Residency on Wednesday September 15 at 2.00 pm followed by presentation of the Outstanding Young Person Award at 4.00 pm.

Cooking Competition for hotel management students and general public will be held at Lions Seva Mandir on September 18 at 3.30 pm, while Treasure Hunt, Motor Rally for two and four-wheelers will start at Kanchana Hyundai, Padil on September 19 at 9.30 am.
