Udupi: 2.5-year-old child goes missing, police register abduction case

Udupi, Jul 11: A 2.5-year-old child of Arun and Bharathi, a Bagalkot based couple, has gone missing since the morning of Sunday, July 11.

The couple were living in a shed near Karavali bypass here.

A person who is known to the couple had taken the child in the morning for breakfast. Both have not returned since then. As per the CCTV footage available, the concerned person boarded a bus heading towards Santhekatte from Udupi at around 9.22 am from the Karavali Junction bus stop with the child.

The couple has been asked to appear at Udupi police station for inquiry, said police sources.

A case has been filed in this regard at the Udupi police station against the man who took the child along with him.

    What is happening with our children of late?Mostly girls are at danger.Hope soon will be this angel come back.we should not give up hopes and pray.Who was this strenger?and why did parents let alone small child to go with a stranger .Very risky.Here police too should show some fine feelings with parents and can go to them for inquiry than asking them to come to police station.We hear now and then some occult ceremonies ,opfers etc.Really I am worried.
