Bengaluru, Jul 12: As a depression has been created over the Bay of Bengal, many places in Karnataka are likely to experience good rainfall till July 15.

Many places in Karnataka coast and Malnad districts are predicted to get strong wind, thunder and copious rainfall. Therefore, orange alert has been issued till July 15, the meteorological department said.

Yellow alert has been issued for Belagavi, Dharwad, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadagiri, and Raichur districts where heavy rainfall is possible.
