Mangaluru, Jul 13: Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress president Raksha Ramaiah on Tuesday July 13 said that he will follow the high command’s orders in handing over his post to Mohammed Nalapad.
Addressing media, he said, “My term will end in January 2022. As per the decision of the high command, I took charge of the post which I will hand over following orders. I have been friends with Nalapad for the past 12 years and there are no differences between us. If there is any kind of confusion between us, we will resolve them internally. There is no groupism in Youth Congress and our aim is to make Congress come back to power.”
Responding to Nalapad’s statement of D K Shivakumar becoming the next chief minister, Ramaiah said, “He must have said it by mistake. We will work hard on strengthening our party and work unitedly. We will conduct campaigns so that more number of youths come forward to join our party.
“BJP spends nearly Rs 50-60 crore for publicity on social media. BJP shows their strength on social media but not on ground, Congress shows its strength on the ground,” he said.
