Udupi, Sep 10: The Rotary Club of Padubidri, near here, felicitated B S Acharya, headmaster of Saraswati High School, Ucchila, and Achyut Acharya, teacher, Saraswati Primary School, who will be retiring shortly, in a function held at the school premises recently.
Alban Rodrigues, principal, Dandateerta Pre-University College, Uliyaragoli, Kaup, felicitated both teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Rodrigues said that students and their parents should hold teachers in high esteem since they shape the future of students.
Padubidri Rotary president Madhav Suvarna, secretary Ganesh Acharya Ucchila, Ramesh U, and parents-teachers’ association president Polya Sasidar Shetty were present on the dais.
