Cabinet nod for India-Denmark MoU in health sector


New Delhi, Jul 14 (IANS): The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Denmark on cooperation in the field of health and medicine.

The pact will be signed between India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and Denmark's Ministry of Health.

The MoU will encourage cooperation between the MoHFW and Denmark's Ministry of Health through joint initiatives and technology development in the health sector.

The pact will encourage cooperation between the two countries through joint initiatives and development of research in the health sector. This will facilitate in improving the health status of the people of both the countries.
