Kundapur, Jul 15: A house was completely damaged when a tree fell on it on the night of Wednesday July 14. Two inmates inside the house received grievous injuries. They are admitted into a private hospital in the town.

The mishap occurred late on the night of Wednesday. A coconut tree and a huge banyan tree fell on the house. The house belongs to Basrur Makkimane Ganapaiah Ganiga. Fortunately, the children sleeping inside the house, did not receive any injury.

The walls and roof of the house collapsed. The injured persons are recovering in hospital.
