Dubai, Jul 17: Team501 held a cricket tournament at the Scout Mission grounds, Abu Hail, Dubai on July 15.

D group Vitla A team which performed well throughout the tournament bagged the cash of first prize. Ubar friends club won the second prize. Third prize was presented to D group Vitla B team. Mangaluru friends had to be content with fourth position.

D group team’s Munir Kandigara who played excellently throughout the tournament was declared man of the series. Ubar Friends team’s Shahin was the best batsman. Aswar Koila was the best bowler. Muaz received the man of the match prize in the final match.

Smart Root Technologies Mangaluru, Star Killer Men’s Fashion Dubai, Al Hibath Roastery Dubai, Nazam Al Shahama garage Sharjah and Vasith Sports Sharjah were the sponsors of the tournament.

Mohammed Nawaz of DIB Bank, Abdullah of Smart Root Technologies, Asif from Star Killer Men’s Fashions, Zubair from Al Hilath, tournament manager Farook Vagga, Zameer Sajipa and Joel Madanthyar were present. Asadulla and Ashraf were the commentators. Rizwan of Team501 thanked all at the end.
