Udupi, Jul 17: The district administration is all set to hold SSLC examinations and taken all precautionary measures at the exam centers. The exams will be held on Monday July 19 and Thursday July 22.
A total of 14,384 students would be appearing for the exams at 77 centers which includes regular students, private and repeaters (from private institutions). Out of that, 6,843 boys and 6,493 girls as regular candidates and 7,597 boys and 6,787 girls from private institutions.
Exam hall supervisors, custodians, mobile checking officers, vigilant team, guides, physical teachers, and scouts and guides teams have been appointed for the smooth conduct of exam at the centers.
As many as 1,780 rooms are being used for the examinations and four additional supervisors have been appointed at every center.
CCTVs have been installed in all the rooms. A team of health department staff will camp at the center. All exam rooms and school campuses were sanitised by the local body. Police squad and additional vehicles will be kept at the exam center in case of the health emergency.
As many as 2,266 staffs, who are involved in the examination activity, are all vaccinated. Isolation room is arranged at every exam center.
Students have been asked to bring drinking water and food from their homes.
