Bantwal, Jul 17: A man died after he fell into a drain at Naduvadka, Kasba, here on Saturday July 17.

The deceased, Vasanth Naika (40), was a resident near Balantimuger school. He was unmarried. He reportedly slipped and fell to the water. His body was retrieved later.

Revenue inspector Diwaker Mugulya, village accountant Prakash and village assistant Lingappa visited the spot and registered a case.
