Bantwal, Jul 17: The department of education has made preparations to conduct SSLC examinations here. As many as 6,156 students will write the examinations at 30 examination centres.
While examinations are conducted for six subjects every year, only two examinations are being conducted this year. The department has the challenge of ensuring that students wear masks, maintain social distance and use sanitizers.
A total of 3,369 boys and 2,787 girls will be writing the examinations in the taluk this year. There are 2638 government school students, 1,716 aided school students and 1,802 students of private schools in them.
Additional two centres are reserved for emergency situations. Only 12 students will occupy each room.
