Kundapur, Jul 19: “An audio saying that it belongs to Nalin Kumar Kateel is making rounds. However, there is suspicion on the voice that is heard on the audio and that of Nalin Kumar. I urge the CM to conduct an investigation into the matter and punish the culprits, who made it viral on social media,” said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
Poojary spoke with the media on Monday in the city. He further said, “Already instructions are given to give full remuneration to the artistes of troupes of temples. In most of the temples, the payment is already done. It has come to light that the payment is withheld at Maranakatte. I have instructed district level officers to contact the concerned at Maranakatte and release the payment. The officials have already spoken to the administrative committee of the temple and they have agreed to give complete salary. It will be done in a day or two.
“The temples are already opened to devotees. Discussions are held to conduct food offerings to a limited number of devotees in temples. This is already discussed with the CM. A decision will be taken in a few days.
“Discussions are held to transfer staff serving in temples to other temples within the district. This is done in order to make the service of the staff, who are working honestly, available to other temples also.
“The government has directed to protect cattle grazing areas. But in some places, poor people have built their houses on this land. When giving RTC to such lands, some other land should be reserved for grazing. In this way poor people will get houses and grazing land for cattle is also protected.”
