Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Sep 13: State home minister, Dr V S Acharya, told the reporters here on Sunday September 12, that People’s Democratic Party leader, Abdul Nasser Madani, who is in judicial custody presently, has contacts with several political parties. “This information came out during the police investigation. As he is required in eight cases in the state, his police custody will be sought as and when felt necessary,” he explained.

Acharya, at the same time, refused to be drawn into the controversy surrounding medical education minister, Ramachandra Gowda’s involvement with illegal appointments to medical colleges and his resignation. He refused to make any comments, saying that it would be improper to say anything at a time when the issue is before the state High Court. At the same time, he clarified that the Chief Minister, who is presently on a tour of China, will give his response on the issue once he comes back.

The minister expressed the confidence that his party will bag both Kadur and Gulbarga South assembly constituencies, where voting for the by election is being held on Monday September 13. At the same time, he felt that it would be prudent on the part of the President of India to give her assent to the cow slaughter bill.

About the expected delivery of judgment on September 24 over the land on which the disputed building in Ayodhya stood, Acharya said that the departments have been instructed to keep tight vigil to ensure that no untoward incidents occur as an aftermath of this judgment. At the same time, he expressed the confidence that the state will not witness any unsavoury incidents as a fallout of the court verdict in the said case.

Whether minority or majority, is not the issue. As a Home Minister and the helmn of Law & Order in the State, Acharya must keep his mouth shut and allow the investigations to proceed without interference.

Mr Madani is required in 8 cases in karnataka only because he is from minority community. Its very easy for Acharya to frame any one. Why he is not applying the same stringent laws on BD members who went rampant in church attacks. Why he doesnt want to talk about R>Gowda'llegal appointments as the matter was under investigation/in court. Is Madanis matter too is not i=in court or under ivestigation. Islam is a religion of peace and if any one has doubt please see youtube:BhushanKumar Upadhyay- Police commissioner- Solapur. BJP is no doubt against Indian muslims and christians. This party will never come to power in center again and it is their last government in karnataka. After that they have to go to Himalaya to count the beeds.. Its just beginning of their decay and fall. This party is not judicious but only biased. If Court decides Madani is guilt of terrorism, please hang him. But dont draw a conclusion that suits BJP's politics. Thats it.
