Udupi: 23-years-old unemployed youth commits suicide

Udupi, Jul 20: A youth, who was unemployed, killed himself at Inna Village of Karkala taluk in the district on Monday July 19.

The deceased is identified as Roshan Shetty (23), son of sister-in-law of complainant Vishwanatha K Shetty (52), son of Kuppa Shetty, resident of Sandolige Hadi Mane, Rajivi Nivasa, Inna village, Karkala

The deceased, as per the complaint filed by his brother-in-law did not go to any job. He had also taken loans from some people in the village leaving him depressed. He hanged himself on a cashew tree near his house on the evening of July 19.

A case in this connection is registered at Padubidri police station.
