Bantwal, Jul 22: “The government has decided to allot houses to all under Ashraya scheme before March, 2022. Eligible beneficiaries may submit applications before March 2022,” said MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadiguthu. He was speaking at B C Road, MLA’s office handing over relief cheques under natural calamities to 55 people and title deeds to 36 people belonging to Bantwal, Panemangaluru and Vittal on Thursday. “The problems of issuing title deeds to people who are living in deemed forest for many years after constructing houses are solved after discussions with the minister of forests. The title deeds will be issued soon to beneficiaries staying at Vitlapadnoor and Uli villages in Bantwal,” he said.
Title deeds are issued to 36 beneficiaries and Rs 3.12 lac worth cheques under natural calamities are issued to 55 people. Sincere efforts are made already to issue title deeds to those who were deprived of them. The title deeds will be issued to all the pending beneficiaries in the future,” he said.
Buda president Devadas Shetty, BJP chief secretary Dombayya Arala, BJP’s Sunil Kayar Mar, Janardhan Bondala, Seetarama Agolibettu, Ramakrishna Mayya, Manoj Kallige, Dinesh Poojary, Vijaya Amtadi, revenue inspector Rama Katipalla, Navin Benjanapadav, Diwaker Muguli, village accountant Karibasappa Nayak, Manjunath K H Kumar, T C Vaishali, Pradeep Kulal, Sadashiva Kaikamba and others were present.
