Puttur: St Philomena College cherishes achievement exhibited by students in PU exams

Puttur, Jul 23: St Philomena PU College wrapped up another academic year with an excellent result in II PUC. The students of batch 2020-21 of the college have made their alma mater proud with the results achieved this year by bagging 100 % in II PUC.

In science stream, Amritha S V scored 600/600 (Kan- 100, Eng - 100, P - 100, C - 100, M - 100, B - 100), in commerce stream, K Nischay Kudva scored 599/600 (San - 100, Eng - 100, S - 100, Eco - 99, B - 100, A - 100), and in arts stream, Fathimath Shama scored 523/600 (Kan - 91, Eng -89, H -84, E- 86, P- 83, S - 90).

To add to the list of achievement, out of 542 students, 140 students secured distinction, 339 students passed with first class and 63 students passed with second class.

In science stream, the total students enrolled were 218, out of which 86 students secured distinction, 128 students passed with first class and 4 students passed with second class.

In commerce stream, the total students enrolled were 301, out of which 51 students secured distinction, 199 students passed with first class and 51 students passed with second class.

In arts stream, the total students enrolled were 23, out of which 03 students secured distinction, 12 students passed with first class and 8 students passed with second class.

In science stream Nithin Kumar S I (599), Olen Dale Pinto (599) and Sanmathi S (598), in commerce stream Afreena P B (598) and Smith S Rai (597) and in arts stream Mahammad Irfan K (516) and Ronaldo Royce Jackson (513), secured the highest marks.

The management and the principal of the college applauded all the students who have scored well and congratulated the students who have passed in flying colours.
