Rahul drives tractor to Parliament, demands withdrawal of farm laws

New Delhi, Jul 26 (IANS): Coming out in support of protesting farmers, former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday drove a tractor to Parliament and once again reiterated his demand of withdrawing the three farm laws.

Rahul Gandhi along with several party members drove a tractor to Parliament with a big boarding demanding repealing of three farm laws.

Speaking to media, Rahul Gandhi said, "I have brought farmers' message to Parliament. They (Government) are suppressing voices of farmers and not letting a discussion take place in Parliament."

He said that they'll have to repeal these black laws. "Entire country knows for whose benefit this (three farm laws) is being done. This is not in favour of farmers and the government will have to withdraw these three black farm laws," he added.

The Delhi Police then detained Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala and IYC national President Srinivas B.V. along with scores of party workers.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress and several opposition parties have been demanding withdrawal of three farm laws.

Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh have been protesting against the three farm laws since November 26 last year. Farmers have been demanding withdrawal of these farm laws and ensuring MSP to their produce.

The BJP Govt has made a mockery of Parlimentary Democracy by passing these Farm Bills without any discussion in the house or taken any Parlimentary bodies into confidence. It is clear to the people of our country that these three farm bills was a dubious case of match fixing by Modi and Amit Shah for their crony capitalists friends like Ambani and Adani. The elaborate advance preparations , go downs, super markets, land acquisitions and other arrangements by industrialists Abmani and Adani are already in the public domain. These crony capitalists will then dominate the agriculture sector and render the farmers vulnerable and vanquished. . They finally passed it in the Rajya Sabha in a most deceitful manner through a voice vote just to please their Crony Capitalist friends at the expense of the Farmers. A Suit Boot Ki Sarkar that is totally insensitive, Callous, Indifferent, Arrogant and Autocratic that cares two hoots for the lower sections of our society including farmers. "Since Independence, it is for the first time that an arrogant government has come to power. It is not even looking at the pain and sufferings of farmers, forget about the common man,"If Agriculture is a State subject the why has the center passed Bills on Farm Laws on Agriculture

All problems started because of Modis inability to handle the issues plus his high level educational credentials which are nowhere available so easily.

Dear Ramesh, I sincerely dont know how come you guys are so cheap. Because you still continue to throw ALLEGATIONS on the congress while everyone very well knows that the majority of the new ministers recently inducted have criminal records. That includes murder, attempt to murder etc. We also have read about the helicopter brothers from kumbakonam. Also not to forget the reddy brothers. And also your own HM.
