PM hits out at Cong for disrupting parliament, says expose them

New Delhi, Jul 27 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hit out at the Congress for not allowing the parliament to function properly and causing repeated disruptions in both Houses. The Prime Minister was speaking at the BJP's Parliamentary Party meeting here on Tuesday.

Sources said, "The Prime Minister told the party MPs that the Congress party is deliberately disturbing the parliament. They are neither interested in debate nor are allowing the parliament to function smoothly."

The Prime Minister also hit out at the Congress for not participating in the meeting of floor leaders of all parties on Covid. On July 20, the Prime Minister interacted with floor leaders of all parties of both Houses of the Parliament to inform them of the trajectory of Covid-19 and the public health response to the pandemic.

"The Prime Minister said that the on one side, the Congress stops the functioning of the House and on the other hand, they did not turn up to attend the all-party meeting called on Covid. Their behaviour is against the humanity. He asked MPs to expose the Congress among the people of India," sources said.

It is learnt that the Prime Minister asked the BJP MPs to celebrate the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' with public participation to mark 75 years of Independence so that it does not look like a government event.

Sources said that Prime Minister Modi also asked the BJP MPs to celebrate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' in a big way with public participation. It is also learnt that the Prime Minister asked the BJP MPs to appeal to people to suggest ideas for the next 25 years. "He asked people to suggest their ideas and vision for the next 25 years when the country will celebrate 100 years of Independence in 2047," another MP who was present in the meeting said.

The Prime Minister also asked MPs to organise various activities to create awareness and increase public participation in 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

How shortlived are our memories. Prior 2014 who was in Opposition and who was disrupting the Parliament sessions? Do we need the Parliament records to be tabled for the time lost then; the Opposition (then and now) learnt from the past lessons. This trend will continue even if BJP lose power. Sad thing for Democracy.

Opposition is not disrupting the parliament but they are demanding some answers and action to follow by you according to the parliamentary procedure but you are unwilling to cooperate. So how can the parliament function if the ruling govt does underhand and undemocratic things and not answerable to the opposition??????……..Oppositions have the proof and evidence to prove thier point but your guilty conscience is clearly visible. Be assured about one fact that opposition is the voice of people, so you should answer the people.

He wants the congress and the opposition to sit in Parliament and keep nodding their heads silently at the nonsense being dished out there by the BJP. He forgets that we are a democracy and the job of the opposition is to question the government and get answers. The disruption only happens when the ruling party with its brute majority prevents questions being asked and refuses to be answerable to the people. Dear PM, first come clean on the Pegasus issue and provide correct information on the covid fiasco, and then the Parliament will function just fine.

First ask the The BJP MP's and MLA's to visit the villages in UP/Haryana and Punjab. They are being beaten black and blue. They don't even dare to step inside the villages due to the farmer protest. Secondly debating with whom? With the arrogant BJPians who never accept their failures/who never accept that they snooped/hacked the phones/who do not have a logic to counter why petrol prices are at 110 rupees per liter. Stupid Dumbtard BJPians don't have the guts to hold a press meet. Shoot and scoot is in their blood.

CONgress with its 52 MPs is in fact running away from debates which actually should be the other way round. They need to be more accountable to their voters and put the BJP on mat in Parliament by strong debates and data, but this is not happening. Rahul Ghandhi MP from Wayanadu and his mother, the only MP from UP should attend Parliament and Lok Sabha unlike Kharge, Kapil Sibal, Chidu Son and other dull leaders.

The so called disruptions that you say of dear Prime Minister, would never happen if you had the courtesy to sit down and answer the questions posed at you and your ministers. However, you are treating the opposition like outsiders. Take them into confidence. It is not without reason, your govt rating has fallen steeply. There is a lot of negativity in the market. The intolerance has grown. There is civil war going on in Assam. Thousands of farmers are on strike since Nov 2020, sitting in the sun, cold rain. There are so many people suffering without jobs post covid. So many houses being auctioned due to inability to pay EMI's. Fuel prices has gone so up, it has become unreachable to the poor and middle class. Essential commodities have become so dearer. Everyone are feeling the pinch, ofcourse except the bhakths. Human suffering has reached a horrifying height. Start treating your citizens like humans and everything will fall into place.
