Mangaluru: NMAMIT to host STTP from August 2

Mangaluru, Jul 31: Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NMAM Institute of Technology is organizing AICTE sponsored online Short Term Training Program (STTP) on 'Application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Control of Future Grid' from August 2-7, 2021.

N Vinaya Hegde, president, Nitte Education Trust and Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) will inaugurate the function on August 2, at 9.30 am through online mode. Dr Dattatreya Gaonkar, professor, department of E&E, NITK Surathkal will grace the occasion and deliver the keynote address.

‘The STTP is focused to educate and orient the faculty in the area of application of ML and AI techniques to Power Systems. The resource persons from IISC, IITs, NITs and from other reputed institutions will deliver expert lectures on new technological developments and operational challenges of future power grids’ said Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal, NMAMIT in a recent press release.
