Puttur: Engineering Student Commits Suicide

Puttur, Sep 18: Nachiketa (23), an engineering student, who had completed his degree course in a Bangalore college recently, committed suicide on Friday September 17 by hanging himself at his residence. The incident occurred at Aladka in Mundoor village in the taluk.

Nachiketa, son of Dr K Sooryanaraya, a medical practioner in the town, reportedly suffered from depression. It is said that there was no one at home when the incident occurred.

A case of unnatural death was registered in Sampya police station, in this connection.
