Panaji: Flood affected Sakhali area people to get compensation – CM Sawant

Panaji, Aug 3: CM Sawant heard the woes of flood-affected victims of Sakhali area on Sunday, August 1. He visited Taletoral, Bhamai, Pale-Usagaon, Mallikarjun Temple and St Joseph church areas.

Most of the residents have lost their houses.

CM Sawants assured the victims that the government will take action as soon as possible to provide them compensation and also plan strategies to avoid floods of this nature in future.
