Abu Dhabi, Sep 20 (IANS/WAM) India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to boost their "deep-rooted relationship" and enhance ties in various sectors.
"We value our deep-rooted relations with India and we are keen to boost them in all domains," Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said after his meeting with an Indian delegation.
Vijaya Latha Reddy, secretary (east), ministry of external affairs, who led the visiting delegation, discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance friendship during a meeting of UAE-India Political Consultation Committee held here Sunday.
Reddy also lauded the progress made by the UAE in all fields and praised the leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
