Mangaluru: Three-member gang on bike robs cash from shop owner

Mangaluru, Aug 9: A three member bike-borne gang looted cash from the owner of a shop at Meginapanjala of Talapady on the Monday August 9 morning.

Hasainar alias Kasim (57) is the victim. He is a local resident. He owns Al-Falah Tattukada grocery store. This incident took place while opening the shop in the early morning.

One among the three persons, who arrived on a bike, snatched the cash of Rs 14,000 from Hasainar and escaped from the spot. It is said that Hasainar was injured in the incident.

Hasainar had been to Thokottu hospital after the incident and said that he got injured as he fell down. Later in the afternoon, he spoke about the robbery. Ullal police have visited the spot and collected evidence. The footage of three people moving on a bike during the said time is captured on a CCTV footage nearby.

Ullal police are investigating further.

    Absolutely correct BRO . We are fighting within ourselves here and the revenue for the govt generated here is shifted to other places were people dnt even knw wat is Tax. This is the hard fact which we innocent literate people do not knw about. Sad but fact is we are being fooled by govts at all levels regarding basic level social amenities and security. Hopefully some day some things will be good for the HONEST TAX PAYERS and justice will be done.

    I have noticed many such small crimes happening now. Criminals are doing small robbery no matter if they loot a small amount also.
