M'luru: Ice-carving workshop held at Srinivas University College of Hotel Management, Tourism

Mangaluru, Aug 9: An Ice-carving workshop was conducted at Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism in the Food Production department on August 5.

Shailesh, associate professor and Rahul, assistant arofessor, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, Mangaluru were the resource persons of the workshop. The workshop was organised by Prashant Prabhu, assistant professor, College of Hotel Management and Tourism.

More than 70 students of the college participated in the workshop. Shailesh spoke about the importance Ice Carving in hotels and Food service Premises and exhibited the skills needed to make professionally carved ice sculptures in various styles and shapes. Students actively joined hands on coming up with ice sculptures. On this occasion,

Professor Swaminathan, dean, College of Hotel Management and Tourism extended the floral welcome to the resource persons and Mohammed Shahir (BHMCT 4th sem) presented the vote of thanks.
