SSLC results out: 99.9% pass percentage, 157 students score centum

Bengaluru, Aug 9: The results of SSLC examinations conducted were announced on Monday August 9. The results were released online by education minister B C Nagesh at the office of the Karnataka SSLC examination board at Malleshwaram in the city.

The pass percentage is 99.9%. As many as 1,28,931 students have passed in A+ grade. All the students have been promoted except a girl who was failed due to impersonation.

A total of 157 students have secured full marks of 625 out of 625. As many as 2,50,317 students have secured A grade, 2,87,684 students have secured B grade and 1,13,610 students have secured C grade. Out of 8,76,581 students, 4,72,643 boys and 4,01,282 girls have cleared the exams.

Students who appeared for the examination can also view the results on https://sslc.karnataka.gov.in/. The results will reach individual students through SMS as well.

A total of 8.76 lac students had appeared for the examinations. Due to the pandemic, for the first time the examinations were reduced from six days to two days with students writing one paper for three subjects each day. Students wrote the exam for core subjects mathematics, science and social science on day 1, and language papers such as Kannada, English, Hindi and Sanskrit on day 2. As many as 1.19 lac staff were deployed for 73,064 exam halls in 4,885 centres across the state.

Last year, the Karnataka SSLC exam result was announced on August 10. The overall pass percentage was 71.8%.
